School starts tomorrow in Texas. I can't wait to get back into the swing of things with my elementary students. I have a wonderful year planned with lots of exciting art work to challenge their creative juices. Art project posting is soon to come!

Wal-Mart Bride

Marriage is a perfect union between a man and a woman. The white dress symbolizes the legal union of a bride on her wedding day. The 252 Wal-Mart bags used indicate the amount of time and energy a wedding dress attains. The use of Wal-Mart bags also represent the ideal that a wedding dress is only meant to be worn once, as Wal-Mart buildings are merely rebuilt instead of reused.
